ADAPTIVE SAILING PROGRAM

The objectives of this scholarship are to:

  • Increase awareness of adaptive sports opportunities available for individuals with DMD

  • Provide an opportunity for individuals with DMD to participate in adaptive sports in a safe and supportive environment

  • Create opportunities for families of individuals with DMD to engage in outdoor sports together

Summer Scholarship Sail Program includes:

  • Two nights of lodging in Hyannis, MA 

  • One or two days of adaptive sailing lessons at Sail Cape Cod

  • Gift certificate for $250 for any additional expenses 


Essential information for Summer 2025:

  • The application is now open for Summer 2025

  • The application deadline for the 2025 season is Saturday, May 17th

  • Any applications received after the application has closed will be put on a waitlist for this summer

  • If the applicant does not sail this summer, they will automatically be put at the top of the applicants for next summer

  • ​Applicants are accepted based on how many times you have already done this program with JB's Keys and when your application was submitted
