RACE

The objectives of this scholarship are to:

Increase awareness of adaptive sports opportunities available for individuals with DMD
Provide an opportunity for individuals with DMD to participate in the International Tetra Ski Championship at Powder Mountain in Utah each March
Partner with New England Disabled Sports to highlight the abilities of a tetra ski athlete living with Duchenne who has participated in our Adaptive Ski Program

Essential information:

The application for the March 2025 race will be open on Friday, December 6th
The application deadline for the 2025 race is Friday, January 24th, 2025
Applicants will receive confirmation of receipt of their application within one week
After the application deadline date, we will reach out to applicants with further questions if needed
The grant will be awarded to an applicant by Monday, February 3rd, 2025
The grant will be awarded based on how many times they have done this program with JB's Keys and their experience with the Tetra Ski
If multiple applicants have equal qualifications, we will choose the recipient at random from that group.
